PKN ORLEN has the biggest followership on LinkedIn of all WIG30 companies but on Twitter it falls behind the telecoms provider Orange Polska that has more than twice as many Twitter followers as the Polish state oil giant. The leader among business experts on Twitter is Krzysztof Berenda, business journalist at RMF 24. The most active financial influencer on the Polish Internet is Michał Szafrański. Money.pl remains the most visited financial portal in the country. These are some of the highlights of the second edition of our in-house report “Ranking of Financial Influencers and Financial Portals on Social Media”.
As in the first edition, we focused not only on financial portals and financial blogs but also on LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube. To compile the ranking, we analyzed the social media presence of 30 biggest companies on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, as well as their current managers. For social media channels, the main ranking criterion was the number of followers and subscribers on the respective social media channel. For financial bloggers and financial experts on portals, the monthly page views were used.
